Urban Outfitters Introduces Mood Lipsticks

There is no better time than the holiday season to remind you that fashion and beauty are meant to be fun, which is exactly why these five new mood-changing lipsticks from Urban Outfitters caught our eye. The five pastel shades—which are called Temper, Melancholy, Clarity, Vain and Lust—appear sheer when first applied. A few minutes later, they will change color to a shade of rosy pink that corresponds magically to your mood. If the novelty value isn’t enough to entice you, take note of the ingredients—the beeswax is guaranteed to keep your lips hydrated and soft all winter long. The five-color Mood Lipstick set is available now at Urban Outfitters stores, as well as online at UrbanOutfitters.com, for $14.

Rachel Antonoff Unveils Spring 2011 Lookbook

Ready for a trip down memory lane to the not-so-innocent years of high school? Take a quick look at Rachel Antonoff’s Spring 2011 lookbook. The lookbook is compiled in the form of an old diary, complete with faded taped-in photographs, captions scrawled in blue pen, and plenty of childhood innocence. 30 Rock actress Katrina Bowden models the clothes among a slew of stuffed animals, old records, retro furniture, and schoolbooks. To be specific, you’ll find a gingham blouse layered over silky high-waist shorts, a printed bra top layered under cotton overalls, a cotton voile dress that buttons up the back, a matching bra-and-shorts set, and a sailor-inspired red dress—all in all, plenty of soft and simple separates to take you through spring/summer.

Topshop Collaborates With Bionic Yarn

If you’re looking for a small way to make a difference, take note: British retail chain Topshop has collaborated with sustainable fabric company Bionic Yarn on a three-piece denim collection inspired by the 1970s. Included: a lumberjack jacket, a pair of bellbottom jeans, and a pair of cuffed shorts. The best part? Not only are the pieces made from sustainable fabric—created from plastic bottle fibers, naturally—they also are designed to improve with age—it doesn’t get any better than that! You can find the Bionic Yarn x Topshop collaboration in select Topshop stores as well as online at Topshop.com. Prices start at $70.
