If you are the type of girl that likes to “look ace even while you sleep,” pay attention: the final piece from Alexa Chung’s collaboration with Madewell goes on sale tomorrow. What is it, exactly? A long cotton tunic emblazoned with a quirky bat graphic drawn by Alexa herself. (“I was absentmindedly drawing something in a meeting and it ended up getting its way onto [the] t-shirt,” Chung explained at collection’s presentation in September.)
“I’m so happy that the tunic is now available,” Chung told People. “I loved the bat tee but was always rather fond of the longer version.” So fond, in fact, that she has already put together a set of styling tips for fellow bat-tee devotees: “Wear with tights and a granddad cardigan this winter or wear it to bed so you can look ace even as you sleep.”
Do the tee and Chung’s style tips sound right up your alley? If so, the bat tee launches at Madewell stores, as well as online at Madewell.com, tomorrow. It is priced at $58.
