Burlesque beauty Dita Von Teese has partnered with Moschino to design – of all things – a sleeping eye mask. Although at first it might seem like a strange collaboration, it is all in the name of charity, which is never a bad thing.
The limited-edition mask, which comes with a matching case, stays true to Dita’s feminine aesthetic. Dita started out with a pale pink, silk-satin bed and then added trompe l’oeil eyelashes, a Swiss-dot overlay and ruffled lace edges. For the finishing touch, rhinestones spell out “Dita For Moschino.”
Basically, it’s all a little bit of fun: you can catch up on your beauty sleep while looking like a million dollars. Plus, you have the added benefit of helping out a good cause. The mask is available on the Moschino website for $130. Thirty percent of the proceeds will go to amfAR, an organization dedicated to ending the global AIDS epidemic through innovative research.
