7 Luminous Beauty Buys for a Gorgeous Glow

Finally, spring is here—and summer is soon to follow! But finding the right beauty products can be tough when the weather gets warm, and perfecting a gorgeous, sun-kissed look (without actually exposing your skin to damaging UV rays) is a true beauty challenge. Luckily, we’ve rounded up seven of the best illuminizers out there to help you get your glow on.

First up is our fave—Josie Maran’s Argan Illuminizer. In addition to giving your skin a natural-looking bronze hue, it also contains Argan oil, which enriches dry derma with beneficial vitamin C and essential fatty acids.

Next up is a beautiful, limited-edition illuminating powder from Estée Lauder’s AERIN Beauty line. It not only adds a gorgeous flush to your face, but it so prettily packaged and contains a light, rose scent that will instantly excite your springtime scent sensors.

If you’re looking for a more subtle way to create a luminous look, try Guerlain’s illuminating sparkling compact. It subtly brightens skin with a combination of six pastel-colored powder pearls, and comes with a pretty pink puff for seamless application.

Another luminizer that we can’t live without is NARS’ cult-classic The Multiple in Orgasm. The sheer pink shade, which contains a touch of golden shimmer, suits almost every skin tone, and the creamy, multi-purpose stick makes it easy to glowify on-the-go.

We can’t forget about the body, and if you’re not into self-tanners, a glimmering lotion is the way to go. We love L’Occitane’s “Rose 4 Reines” Pearlescent Body Cream, which leaves skin with a gorgeous, subtle gleam. It’s also enriched with super-softening almond oil, and the rose scent is lovely without being over-the-top.

No matter what the season, we all have problem spots to hide. The cool thing about Clinique’s light-diffusing cover-up pen is that you can cover your imperfections and brighten your completion at the same time. Try smoothing some on your brow bones and inner eye corners, which will give you an instantly awake look (even if you feel anything but).

And finally, if you feel like splurging, try this Gold Shimmer Oil from the Budapest-based, luxury skin care line Omorovicza. In addition to containing a host of beneficial beauty ingredients, the oil is also enriched with actual gold particles, which are powerful anti-inflammatories and wrinkle reducers. (Who knew?). The oil leaves skin with a truly golden glow, and will leave you with the most wonderful feeling of “I’m worth it” extravagance.

So keep your skin sun-safe this summer without sacrificing a radiant, luminous look.  These great glowifyers won’t let you down. We promise.

Omorovicza is amazing — I’m so glad you included it! It is pricey, but so good. I like the face mist, haven;t tried this oil but will do so the next time I splurge.

How does cream blush fare over spot concealing? Does it melt on the face in the hot summer sun?

Works fantastic! If you plan on bathing in the sun for more than a few hours, consider reapplying
