Our Top 7 Sephora Picks for Fall

It’s hard to remember how we ever shopped for beauty before Sephora came into our lives. Since 1999, they’ve been the go-to source for almost any high-end beauty need, and every year, their selection just gets better and better. Here, we’ve picked our seven favorites for this fall. What are yours? Share your Sephora obsessions in the comments!

1. Stila Magnificent Metals Foil Finish Eye Shadow in Comex Gold, $32
We’ve already raved about these amazing foil-finish shadows, but we have to mention them again because so many of the shades are tailor-made for this fall. We especially love Comex Gold, which is an orangey-gold hue that’s totally on-trend.

2. Bliss Hot Salt Scrub, $38
Exfoliation is key no matter what the season. But during the colder months, it’s especially important to slough off those dead skin cells in order to keep your skin healthy and soft. And what better way to do during chilly temps than with a self-heating, full body exfoliator?

3. Philosophy Hope in a Jar Night, $48
Your face also needs all the moisture it can get, particularly since it’s the part of your body that’s most exposed to bitter winds and other cold-weather elements. If you don’t already use a night cream, now’s a good time to start. Philosophy’s Hope in a Jar Night cream is packed with deep moisturizing goodness that soothes and replenishes your skin while you sleep.

4. TokyoMilk Dark Femme Fatale Collection Lip Elixirs, $7
Lips need major hydration too, and this collection of flavorful Elixirs smooth and soothe dry pouts with some of the most awesome ingredients, including sweet jasmine, bee balm, crushed aloe leaf extracts and vitamin E. We’re carrying Clove Cigarette No. 18 in our pocket, which contains crushed clove, lavender rose, Saigon cinnamon and vanilla bean. It’s a killer bouquet for your lips that has autumn written all over it.

5. Marchesa Parfum D’Extase Eau de Rollerball, $38
Pint-sized roll-on perfumes are so fabulous for toting around with ease, and Marchesa’s Parum D’Extase is a nice scent for fall. It’s floral (an ode to the iris), but only slightly so, and combined with notes of jasmine, black current, ambrox and musk, it definitely has a sexy, “let’s-warm-up-from-the-cold-weather” feel.

6. Drybar Morning After Kit, $35
Fall is an amazing time for frizzy haired folks. The low humidity means great blowouts that have the potential to last. The trick is keeping your smoothed out strands intact through your gym workouts, showers and beauty sleep. Enter Drybar’s genius Morning After Kit, which contains everything you need to keep that sleek style in place for days.

7. Marc Jacobs Beauty Lovemarc Lipgel Gel in Saboteur, $30
Everything in Marc Jacobs’ brand-new beauty line is amazing, but the “Lipgel” totally takes the cake. It’s not much different than a straight-up lipstick, except that the gelified formula makes your lips feel extra shiny and smooth. Plus, the highly pigmented color totally stays put. Saboteur, which is an incredibly fall-friendly maroon shade, is the color we’re currently in love with.
