To celebrate their 40th anniversary, London boutique Browns – who have stocked some of the biggest names in fashion since they first opened in 1970 – will launch the Future Collectables collection, a selection of pieces that Browns believe will be the classics of the future.
The concept is simple. The team at Browns persuaded some of today’s biggest designer names – think Stella McCartney, Sonia Rykiel and Alexander Wang – and asked them to either re-launch one of their most memorable pieces or design something new and exclusive for the store. The collection includes a bandage dress from Christopher Kane’s first collection, a classic Burberry trench and a floral print Erdem dress.
The Future Collectables collection, which launches tomorrow, is meant as a thank you to all of Browns loyal customers. To top it off, Browns have assured customers that the prices will be affordable so you can get your hands on one of those iconic pieces that you previously missed out on.
The Future Collectables collection will be available in London’s Browns stores and online. If you don’t want to shell out for shipping to the US, a Future Collectables pop-up shop will be touring the fashion capitals of the world this summer. Stay tuned!
