This summer Butter London is brightening up its line of nail polishes with the launch of the Jelly Collection, a trio of sheer polishes in bright, fruity hues that are designed to be built upon each other or themselves. “The idea is juicy, sheer color that looks and feels like [a] slick, wet lip gloss for your nails,” says Butter London’s creative director, Nonie Creme; in other words, these colors can be worn as a sheer lick of color, or a semi-sheer tint over another color.
Above from left: Chuffed is a cool shade of cantaloupe that converts into an icy tangerine with each coat. Stroppy is a pale grape jelly that switches into a darker, moodier plum with each new coating. Twee is a delicate raspberry jelly that transforms into a brighter magenta with each new layer. The entire Butter London Jelly Collection is available now at Beauty.com or at ButterLondon.com; each color retails for $14.
