Palm Springs was clearly the place to be this past weekend—not only did the annual Coachella Festival take place, but British brand Mulberry hosted an exclusive barbeque and pool party for stylish stars including Nicole Richie, Camilla Belle, Alexa Chung, Harley Viera Newton, Eliza Doolittle, Gia Coppola, Teresa Palmer, and Skye Ferrera, just to name a few. The aim of the soiree was to celebrate and showcase Mulberry’s fall collection and several celebrities wore pieces from the collection—Nicole wore the Annie Blouse and carried the Heritage Bayswater Satchel, while Camilla wore the Kilty Blouse and carried the Mini Carter. So this is where all the beautiful people were last night—at Vogue Paris’s 90th anniversary masquerade ball, held at the Hotel Pozzo di Borgo and hosted by Vogue Paris editor Carine Roitfeld. The ball saw a slew of fashion industry insiders, models, and celebrities—including Kate Moss, Lara Stone (who stars on the cover of the 90th anniversary issue), Lou Doillon, Gisele Bundchen, and Julia Restoin-Roitfeld—come together to raise their glasses to ninety years of French fashion. Last night, Fashion’s Night Out: The Show—billed as New York’s largest public fashion show—took place in Manhattan. By the numbers, the extravaganza included 171 looks, 150 top models, nine acts, and seven trends—all in all, just enough fashion to whip New Yorkers into frenzy and compel them to shop on Fashion’s Night Out this Friday, which was, after all, the aim of the event.
For the public, there was plenty to see. Supermodels such as Gisele Bündchen, Karolina Kurkova, Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio all arrived via double-decker bus, to the tune of Lady Gaga’s Telephone. Celebrities such as Blake Lively, Ashley Tisdale, Leighton Meester and Olivia Palermo sat in the audience, alongside designers such as Donna Karan, Tommy Hilfiger, Carolina Herrera and Vera Wang. Fall’s biggest trends were showcased, including Fifties Flair, Tartan Twist, Rock Chic and Jazz-Age Cool. Hip-hop star Pharrell Williams performed for the masses. And to finish: original supermodel Naomi Campbell closed the show.
All in all, whether you were lucky enough to attend, or you just watched the live broadcast on CBS, the event undoubtedly has you excited for Fashion’s Night Out. Only one question remains: do you plan to shop!?

The place to be on Wednesday night? The Tanjong Beach Club in Singapore, apparently! Last night, luxe leather label Mulberry hosted a lavish fashion installation (read: party) to celebrate its sought-after Fall 2010 collection. The space was festooned with Mulberry’s signature neon purple leopard print, palm trees, gold roses, and oversized glitter-embellished leopards, and Mulberry mainstay Alexa Chung treated guests to a selection of music from behind the decks. The main highlight, however, was the food: scattered among the prosecco and margarita cocktails was a selection of mini Mulberry Alexa cupcakes, good enough to eat, and an oversized pink leopard print cake.
