Here at Mama’s A Rolling Stone, we have just one philosophy when it comes to Valentine’s Day: be your own Valentine. Of course, that may just be an excuse to buy ourselves something special, but really, have we ever needed an excuse? Not so much. In any case, if you also believe in being your own Valentine, we are pleased to report that we have rounded up a slew of fabulous Valentine-inspired pieces for a very special edition of our Gift Guide. So, sit back, check out our must-have picks, and make sure you stay true to the core beliefs of being your own Valentine: love yourself, cherish yourself, and buy yourself something nice.

Quilted Amalia Lambskin Shoulder Bag ($1,980) by Lanvin
Why we like it: It is hard to say no to such a luxe bag. The quilted leather and chain strap give it a timeless twist, but the pink hue and the bow make it feel oh-so modern.

Goddess Dress ($88) by Free People
Why we like it: Nothing is better than a dress that transitions from day to night. Plus, how can you resist a dress that can be dressed up with heels and jewels or dressed down with sandals and a beach bag?

Dahlia Noir Eau de Parfum ($90 – $110) by Givenchy
Why we like it: With notes of mandarin, pink pepper, mimosa, vanilla, and tonka bean, this fragrance is as intoxicating as it sounds. The floral notes make it perfect for spring, while the warmer notes give it plenty of depth.

Geometric Gold-Plated Ring ($80) by Isharya
Why we like it: This is the type of ring you can wear every day and every night. It is low-key enough to go with your workwear, but glam enough to spice up your next party ensemble.

Chiffon Dress ($63) by TFNC
Why we like it: We love the flirty, feminine vibe of this dress, not to mention how versatile it is. We would pair it with a cropped leather jacket and black pumps for a glam girls’ night out.

Just-Au-Corps Wool-Blend Duffle Coat ($895) by Vivienne Westwood Anglomania
Why we like it: Firstly, this is guaranteed to bring life to your winter wardrobe. Secondly, the draped handkerchief hem and duffle toggles give an otherwise classic coat a playful and unexpected touch, and who can say no to that?

Nail Lacquer in Rose Among Thorns ($7) by China Glaze
Why we like it: Red is such a classic choice when it comes to nail polish. We particularly like how vibrant this hue is—it has an almost-orange tint to it, which makes it perfect for the coming spring season.

Overlap Dress ($650) by Jenni Kayne
Why we like it: This dress feels really fresh, thanks in part to the fashion-forward silhouette and in part to the bold pink hue. When paired with delicate silver sandals, this dress makes a major style statement.

In the world of fashion, there is a certain type of “polish” that seems to come with being a Vogue editor, and if you don’t believe us, you need look no further than Lauren Santo Domingo. Always perfectly put together, Lauren is known for her ultra-sophisticated aesthetic and eye for style, both of which certainly came in handy when Lauren co-founded Moda Operandi, an online trunk show site. In other words, the girl has style! On that note, click through to today’s Fashion Insider story to discover all the need-to-know details on what Lauren wears and how she wears it.

1. In September, Lauren was spotted at the Thakoon show in New York. For the occasion, Lauren wore a navy blazer, a button-down shirt, cropped jeans, and black pumps. We like the way Lauren has created a casual look that still stays true to her polished aesthetic. How did she do it? Because the jeans give her look a casual vibe, Lauren preserved her overall aesthetic by adding a few smarter pieces—specifically, her blazer and button-down. The result is a look that works for a shopping date, a fashion show, and a casual office look. To make this look your own, pair J Crew’s Ivy Blazer ($228) with Textile Elizabeth & James’ Austin Blouse ($195). Then, slip into Current/Elliott’s Skinny Jeans ($208), before finishing with Michael Michael Kors’ Pressely Pumps ($98).

2. One thing we like about Lauren is that she consistently creates stand-out looks using just a few easy pieces. For instance, for the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic event in New York in June, Lauren paired an embroidered white dress with tan sandals and a tan clutch. This look is perfect for a summer event for a couple of reasons. Firstly, white instantly brightens up an outfit and feels fresh and fashion-forward. Secondly, her outfit isn’t weighed down by fussy details. Each piece stands out in its own way, so when teamed together, an outfit is instantly born! To try this look yourself, pair a dress like Nanette Lepore’s Lace Dress ($348) or Paul & Joe Sister’s Mini Dress ($400) with Alexandre Birman’s Strappy Sandals ($238) and Linea Pelle’s Jules Clutch ($156).

3. We are always excited to see how our favorite fashion insiders give the little black dress their own spin, and Lauren certainly did not disappoint with the LBD she wore to a party in New York City in September. On paper, Lauren’s ensemble is perfectly polished. Sophisticated sheath dress? Check! Black pumps? Check! Sleek clutch? Check! However, the dress has been given a sexy twist with the addition of a cut-out panel at the waist held together by safety pins. This gives the outfit just a hint of edginess, but still errs on the side of sophistication. To make this smart-yet-sexy look your own, pair a dress like ASOS’s Midi Dress ($72) or Halston Heritage’s Long-Sleeve Sweetheart Dress ($207) with Sam Edelman’s Portney Pumps ($80) and Kiki London’s Laura Clutch ($595).

4. It is no secret that colorblocking has been a major trend this past year, so we were particularly thrilled to see the outfit Lauren put together for a Dolce & Gabbana presentation in Southampton back in August. Her outfit—cropped red trousers, a beige blouse, and beige Miu Miu peep-toes—has a refreshing vibe to it. This is thanks in part to the two colors Lauren has paired together. While the beige pieces give the ensemble a calm and chic vibe, the red trousers bring the outfit to life. To try this outfit yourself, pair a blouse like Topshop’s Two-Pocket Shirt ($64) with a pair of colorful pants; we like Marc by Marc Jacobs’ Clark Pants ($330) and ASOS’s Cropped Pants ($53.72). To finish, slip into Nicholas Kirkwood’s D’Orsay Pumps ($278).

Numerous film festivals take place around the world every year, promising a slew of red carpet moments, but if there is one that is truly challenging when it comes to fashion, it is Sundance, the festival held in Park City, Utah, every January, in the depths of winter. Of course, plenty of celebrities are up for the fashion challenge, which brings us to today’s Style Spy story! Today, we are exploring how four top tastemakers—specifically, Emily Blunt, Elizabeth Olsen, Rashida Jones, and Kirsten Dunst—put together chic and cozy outfits for their Sundance Festival events. Ready? Click inside to see what they wore and how they wore it!

Emily Blunt
Given that the January weather in Park City is chilly, at best, a short dress can be tricky to pull off, but we think Emily Blunt works it with aplomb. For the premiere of Your Sister’s Sister, Emily wore a suede A.L.C. dress and lace-up booties. Although Emily picked a dress in a low-key hue, the suede fabric helps bring the outfit to life by adding texture to the outfit. The overall result is an unfussy yet fashionable outfit that could easily be worn all day and into the night. To make this look your own, pick up a dress like Tory Burch’s Shift Dress ($701) or Madewell’s Winter Dress ($280). Then, pair it with black tights and a pair of chic booties like Rag & Bone’s Newbury Boots ($495).

Elizabeth Olsen
Layering is a must when cold weather arrives, which is why we love the look Elizabeth Olsen put together for the premiere of Red Lights. Her outfit—a draped suede jacket, black pants, leather Stuart Weitzman boots, and a geometric scarf—looks comfortable and chic, all at once. The key to his look is to pick lightweight pieces that easily flow together and create a coherent look. Anything too big or cumbersome will just add bulk to your look. On that note, to try this look yourself, pair Henrik Vibskov’s Jone Jacket ($293) with black skinnies and a simple black sweater like A-Wear’s Basic Sweater ($36). Then, add a pair of riding boots like Steve Madden’s Miidori Boots ($150), before finishing with a printed scarf like Tolani’s Geo Scarf ($80).

Rashida Jones
It can be tricky putting together a glam look in cold weather, but not if you take notes from Rashida Jones. For the premiere of Celeste, Rashida wore an embellished Theyskens’ Theory dress, a cropped Paule Ka blazer, and black lace-up booties. Notice the tiny petal-shaped embellishments on Rashida’s dress? These instantly catch the eye, elevating Rashida’s look from simple to stand-out. Her cropped blazer, tights, and booties keep her cozy, without stealing focus from the dress. To make this look your own, look for an embellished dress like Alberta Ferretti’s Silk Dress ($417) or Prophecy’s Vintage Dress ($64). Then, add a cropped jacket that stops on the waist—we like Topshop’s Collarless Blazer ($130). To finish, slip into a pair of black tights and Loeffler Randall’s Maudie Booties ($238).

Kirsten Dunst
Another easy way to jazz up a cold-weather ensemble is with a statement piece, much like the fur-trimmed Derek Lam jacket Kirsten Dunst wore to the premiere of Bachelorette. Kirsten paired the coat with a simple black Roland Mouret dress, black tights, and lace-up Chloe booties. The result? An oh-so chic ensemble that allows the jacket to take center stage, but is just as stylish when the jacket is removed. A bonus: fur trim is guaranteed to keep you warm! To try this look yourself, pick up a jacket like Ralph Lauren Black Label’s Shearling Blazer ($1,543) or Juicy Couture’s Faux Fur Blazer ($270) and pair it with Mango’s Shirt Dress ($35). Then, add black tights and a pair of Elizabeth & James’ Chaps Booties ($175) and you’re all set.

Here at Mama’s A Rolling Stone, we spend 99% of our time discussing the items you wear on the outside, so today we decided to turn things inside-out—in a very literal way—and explore what you wear underneath! Specifically, we’re discussing lingerie, and with Valentine’s Day just around the corner, we can’t think of a better time—whether you are subtly bookmarking pages in your Victoria’s Secret catalog for your significant other, or purchasing something special for yourself. On that note, click through to today’s Top Buys story to discover the lovely lingerie we are obsessing over at the moment! Read on!

Classic Black
If you are the type who consistently opts for timeless pieces over trends, we suggest you invest in some classic black lingerie. We love the Unlined Demi Bra ($98), Ruffle Garterbelt ($58), and Ruffle V-String ($48) by Victoria’s Secret Designer Collection (left)—the ruffles add a feminine and flirty twist to this classic set. We also love the My Black Beret Underwire Bra ($68) and Tanga ($25) by Elle Macpherson Intimates (right). This piece is perfect for the girl-on-the-go who needs lingerie that lasts all day and then on into the night.

Vampy Valentine
Pinks and reds are synonymous with Valentine’s Day, and both hues have a vampy vibe, making them perfect for the vixen inside you that is just waiting to get out. With that said, we are obsessed with Stella McCartney’s Sam Partying Scalloped Stretch Silk-Satin Playsuit ($195) (left). It is perfect for a playful “night in,” and it has a subtly sexy vibe. We also love the Spree Contour Bra ($64) and Bikini ($41) by Elle Macpherson Intimates (right). A little bolder, this set is for the girl who really wants to wow.

Neon Brights
Speaking of the “wow” factor, nothing will brighten your lingerie collection like a pair of neon underthings. For instance, we love the neon pink Giovanna Bralette ($58) and Boy Thong ($42) by Eberjey (left). The neon pink hue makes it feminine and fun, all at once. We are equally enamored with Deborah Marquit’s Giardino di Fiori Italian Lace Soft-Cup Bra ($175) and Lace Briefs ($110) (right). In fact, these are so fun, we recommend pairing them with a white tank top, showing just a hint of what lies underneath.

Pure White
Last, but certainly not least, there is something oh-so chic about pure white lingerie—it feels fresh, clean, and fashion-forward. With that said, we adore the Tux Lux Camisole ($71) and Briefs ($40) by Eberjey. The lace trim gives them a sexy twist, but they also have a low-key feel, making them perfect for a lazy Sunday morning. We also love the White Silk Balcony Bra ($40) and Tulle Insert Mini ($15) set by Topshop. We would layer these under a corset-style bandage dress for a glam night out on the town.

As any true beauty fan knows, a dash of pink lipstick has the ability to change your look from simple to stand-out in a New York minute. With that said, we love the pink pouts that have been spotted on the red carpet lately—Emily Blunt recently sported a rosy pink pout, Kirsten Dunst opted for a pretty shade of cherry pink, while Diane Kruger and Lea Michele have each been spotted sporting bubblebum pink pouts. In fact, that is the beauty of this trend—there are dozens of shades to choose from, which is why we have turned to the experts to discover how to try this trend for ourselves. On that note, click through to today’s Beauty Queen story to discover all the need-to-know details.

Preparation
Before you start applying your pink pout, you need to massage “a touch of concealer around the lip line,” says Brett Freedman, a celebrity makeup artist who has worked with celebrities like Camilla Belle and Sienna Miller. Why, you ask? This will help to highlight your lips when you do apply your chosen shade of pink lipstick, plus it will stop the color from bleeding outwards.

Choosing A Shade
Generally speaking, it is best to know which hues are appropriate for your skin tone before you start experimenting with this look. As a guide, women with fair skin should opt for coral-pinks and light beige-pinks, women with a medium skin-tone can try deeper shades, like rosy pink, while women with dark skin tones can try plummy pinks and pinks with blue undertones. We are particularly partial to the pink hue Lea Michele chose for the People’s Choice Awards earlier this month—Lancome’s Rouge In Love Lipstick in Roses in Love—which will be available in early February, just in time for Valentine’s Day.

How To Apply
Once you have chosen the right shade of pink for your skin tone, there are two ways to apply it. For a softer look, take Brett’s advice and apply your lipstick as a stain. To do this, you should smear the lipstick onto the end of one finger, and then blot it onto your lips until you have achieved the right shade and the color is even. In contrast, if you want to try a bold pink lip, we suggest you take the advice of Andrew Sotomayor, a celebrity makeup artist who has assisted with the backstage beauty at Dior and Marchesa. Andrew says: “To prevent bleeding, line your lips with a pencil that matches your natural lip color. For the most color payoff, apply lipstick directly from the tube.”

Shopping For Lipstick
Last, but not least, we simply must share our favorite shades of pink lipstick with you! We are simply smitten with Yves Saint Laurent’s Rouge Volupté’ Lipstick in Caress Pink ($34). We also adore Tom Ford’s Private Blend Lipstick in Pink Dust ($48) —this is a great shade for those with light skin tones. Finally, we can’t resist MAC’s Naturally Lipstick in Craving ($15). Happy shopping!

You may have noticed that it isn’t unusual for the fashion world to jump from one extreme to another. For proof, just take a look at the latest accessory trend to sweep the red carpets. Instead of the mini bags of last season, top tastemakers like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Kirsten Dunst are opting to go big—via oversized clutches, that is. Luckily, this trend is as sensible as it is stylish—no longer do you have to choose between your lipstick and your lip gloss, because everything fits! On that note, click through to today’s Accessory Report for all the need-to-know details on how to work this trend.

Charlize Theron
Although an oversized clutch is sure to catch the eye, you don’t have to let it steal focus from your outfit. On the contrary, one of the best ways of trying this trend is to match your clutch to your outfit, as evidenced by Charlize Theron. Earlier this month, Charlize wore a green Reed Krakoff dress to an award brunch in Palm Springs. Her dress had black trim, making her oversized black clutch the perfect accompaniment—it stands out against the green, but doesn’t steal focus from the dress. To make Charlize’s look your own, try pairing a clutch like ASOS’s Pyramid-Lock Clutch ($27) or Botkier’s Charlotte Clutch ($197) with a bright dress like Rag & Bone’s Nightingale Dress ($415).

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley
Another way to work this trend is to make your oversized clutch part of your color story, which is exactly what Rosie Huntington-Whiteley did for the Burberry Prorsum show back in September. Notice how Rosie’s leather trench, lightweight top, and oversized clutch all have an earthy tone—whether it is clay orange, olive green, or brown? This is another way of working your clutch into your outfit so that it stands out as “part of the story” without becoming the story. To try Rosie’s look yourself, pair a clutch like Haute Hippie’s Python Envelope Clutch ($998) or BCBG’s Croco Clutch in Dark Brown ($136) with pieces like Burberry’s Suede Trench ($1,995) and AG Denim’s Boxy Tee ($35).

Jessica Biel
Jessica Biel worked her oversized clutch in a similar way while out and about at Paris Fashion Week in October, pairing a mint green clutch with a lilac dress, a pale blue coat, and sea green booties. The main difference in this example, however, is in the way Jessica has chosen a clutch embellished with silver dome studs. This is a clever and easy way of breaking up the outfit, ensuring that the pale colors don’t blend together or make the outfit look washed out. To make Jessica’s look your own, try pairing a clutch like ASOS’s Portfolio Clutch ($36) or Cleobella’s Wenona Clutch in Nude ($260) with Zac Posen’s Asymmetric Ruffle Silk-Crepe Dress ($347) and Valentino’s Platform Sandals ($435).

Kirsten Dunst
Now that we’ve covered how to blend your oversized clutch with your ensemble, it is time to take a look at how to make it the focus of your outfit. In this example, we’re taking notes from Kirsten Dunst, who was spotted in London in September wearing a white button-down shirt, a beige skirt, and black pumps, with a patent black clutch in her hand. The key to his look is simple. By picking a patent clutch, Kirsten let her clutch stand out against her matte ensemble. To try Kirsten’s look yourself, pick up a clutch like Yves Saint Laurent’s Patent Clutch ($475) or Maison Martin Margiela’s Envelope Clutch ($395) and pair it with Twenty-Seven Names’ Maya Dress ($226).

What can we say? We’re enablers. You can chalk it up to our deep love of shoes, but we just can’t help ourselves—we simply must share our latest shoe finds with you, every month, in our Chic Shoe Buys story. And don’t say we didn’t warn you. This month we have a pretty amazing lineup of footwear finds—from an awesome pair of vacation-ready espadrilles to a chic pair of colorblock platforms to a stylish pair of boots that are just perfect for making the transition from winter to spring. So what are you waiting for? Click through to discover our latest must-have shoe buys!

Let’s start with the matter at hand—the transition from winter to spring—shall we? It is easy to get stuck in a rut when making the switch between seasons, but not if you have a great pair of lightweight boots at the ready. With that in mind, make sure you check out the Miguel Buckle Boots ($108) by Bronx/Diba. They can be paired with everything in your closet—from jeans to floaty dresses—and they have a sturdy element to them, which means they can weather all weather! We also like Zara’s Wedge Lace-Up Ankle Boots ($50). They, too, will go with just about anything you wear. In addition, the wedge heel gives them a glamorous twist, making them perfect for the girl who needs a show that lasts all day. Another bonus: a bright pop of color is a great way to welcome in the new season.

Speaking of the new season, it is never too early to put your spring/summer planning into place, which is why we have picked out a slew of summery sandals for your perusal. Now, as modern girls-on-the-go, you are bound to need different styles for different occasions. For instance, if you are planning a vacation, make sure you check out Emilio Pucci’s Printed Canvas & Leather Espadrilles ($370). They have a resort-ready vibe, but the flat and comfortable silhouette ensures that you can wear them while exploring the streets of your vacation hot spot. Of course, if you are the type of girl that never wears anything less than a 2″ heel, you may want to check out Missoni’s Leather & Crochet-Knit Platform Sandals ($785). Not only does the colorful silhouette lend itself perfectly to an exotic vacation, but it is sure to catch the eye! If you have a formal event coming up this season, you will no doubt need a sandal with a glam feeling. On that note, we suggest you check out Rachel Zoe’s Debra Linen-Leather Wedge Sandals ($255) and B Brian Atwood’s Dekoda Snake-Print Leather Espadrille Wedge Sandals ($350). The Rachel Zoe wedges have a super-chic vibe, making them perfect for an outdoor wedding or party—pair them with a stylish sun dress and you are all set. As for the B Brian Atwood wedges, the snake-print straps should not be hidden away, so pair these with a maxi dress that stops just short of the ankle.

Last, but not least, it is always important to have a few pairs of sandals for the everyday. With that said, we love Madewell’s Two-Tone Flatstack Platforms ($178). The two-tone silhouette will add a playful twist to any outfit you put together, however low-key, plus the raised platform will give you a little height, but won’t stop you from running from place to place. Then again, you may want a flat heel for everyday errands, so definitely check out Dolce Vita’s Caitlyn Gladiator Sandals ($189). They have a modern-boho vibe, which we love, but the best thing about these sandals is how unfussy they are. The straps are adjustable, plus they are all attached to a zipper, which is great for the girl-on-the-go. Who needs to spend hours tying themselves into a pair of sandals, anyway? Happy shopping!

Fact: the world of fashion moves fast and furious, and sometimes it can be hard to keep up, especially when you are on the hunt for fresh outfit inspiration. Luckily, that is where our regular Steal Her Style story can save the day. We have rounded up some fab outfit ideas—courtesy of three modish muses: Eva Mendes, Michelle Williams, and Lauren Conrad—and we are just positive that you can take plenty of inspiration from these three muses, whether you are shopping from your own closet or going on a spending spree. Ready? Read on!

Eva Mendes
Earlier this month, Eva Mendes was spotted out and about in Los Angeles wearing a spotted tea dress and a brown cardigan, which she accessorized with strappy wedges, an oversized tote bag and a pair of tinted sunglasses. We are particularly smitten with how effortless Eva looks. By picking pieces in similar shades—in this case, brown—Eva has ensured her outfit has a smooth, fluid look. Additionally, by picking pieces that are as chic as they are casual, Eva has made sure that she has an outfit that easily transitions from day to night, which is perfect for the busy girl-on-the-go. On that note, let’s steal Eva’s sophisticated style! First, pick up a dress like ASOS’s Bird-Print Dress ($48) or Candela’s Pleated Shirtdress ($115). Then, slip into Trouvé’s Net Cardigan ($68), throw on a pair of Diane von Furstenberg’s Jute-Wedge Sandals ($250), before completing your look with Halogen’s Half-Ring Tote in Cobblestone ($166).

Michelle Williams
Last week, Michelle Williams was spotted catching a flight out of Los Angeles wearing a striped sweater over a printed blouse, skinny jeans, suede ankle boots, and a bright yellow bag. As a jetsetting actress, it isn’t surprising to see that Michelle is able to put together a perfect traveling outfit. Notice how all her pieces have an unfussy vibe and that there are no busy details? This is essential when flying, but that doesn’t mean Michelle has sacrificed her style for comfort. On the contrary, Michelle’s look has a coquettish Parisian chic vibe. And on that note, it is time to steal Michelle’s steal! First, pair Mason by Michelle Mason’s Open-Knit Striped Sweater ($286) with a blouse like A|Wear’s Bow Tie Shirt ($54). Then, simply slip into your favorite skinnies, throw on Steve Madden’s Pita Boots ($100), and finish with a bright bag like Carlos Falchi’s Tassel Tote ($290).

Lauren Conrad
Although Lauren Conrad is known for her perfectly polished style, we were particularly pleased with the outfit Lauren put together for a dinner date earlier this month. Her outfit—a pleated midi skirt, a cropped blazer, and studded lace-up wedges—is a little different from Lauren’s usual look. Why, you ask? Firstly, we like that Lauren has opted for a sophisticated midi instead of a mini skirt. And secondly, we like the way she has given her outfit an edgy twist by choosing studded wedges. The outfit may be outside Lauren’s comfort zone, but she pulls it off with aplomb. On that note, let’s steal Lauren’s style! First, pair a skirt like Tucker’s Pleated Skirt ($230) or See By Chloe’s Almond Swing Skirt ($650) with Citron’s Silk Tank ($92) and Topshop’s Crop Back Collarless Blazer ($130). Then, simply add N.Y.L.A.’s Noelle Wedge Boots ($60), and voila! Head out into the night!

Here at Mama’s A Rolling Stone, we are decidedly democratic when looking for fresh outfit inspiration. You see, for every celebrity or runway we look to for ideas, we spend an equal amount of time looking to fashion bloggers and street style stars for inspiration. With that said, we are particularly pleased to present our latest Street Chic story. Not only is it jam-packed with outfit ideas, but it comes courtesy of three modish muses from around the globe. Better yet, these aren’t celebrities with an endless budget. They’re real girls, like you and like us. On that note, click through to today’s story and prepare to be inspired!

#1. To start our story off in style, we look to Christina, who lives in New York. Christina recently created the perfect winter outfit for those who live in colder climates: an oversized fur coat paired with leather skinnies, sneakers, and a chunky knit scarf. We love the way the fur coat gives this outfit such a glam twist—not only will it keep you cozy and warm, but you can easily transition this outfit from day to night. We also love the way Christina has paired her pieces with sneakers. This is great for the girl-on-the-go who is running from place to place. To make this look your own, try pairing Nasty Gal’s Kate Faux Fur Coat ($83) with a cozy sweater and ASOS’s Leather Skinny Pants ($179). Then, accessorize with Converse’s All Star Low Sneakers ($45) and Bop Basics’ Thick Knit Collar Scarf ($68). To see more of Christina’s style, check out Trop Rouge.

#2. With spring on the horizon, it is never too early to start planning your transitional outfits, which is why we love the outfit worn by our second muse. Her ensemble has an ultra-chic vibe, thanks partly to the two-tone palette—you can never go wrong with black and white—and partly to the simple yet sophisticated silhouettes. (Of course, it doesn’t hurt that her fiery red locks give the look a pop of color.) Our verdict? This outfit ticks all the boxes—day, night, party, dinner, show, work. You can wear this anywhere and you will always stand out. On that note, to try this look yourself, pair Zara’s Silk Blouse ($80) with Theyskens’ Theory’s Foyu Skirt ($148) and Piazza Sempione’s Audrey Pants ($680), or try MM6 x Opening Ceremony’s Removable Skirt Pants ($135). To finish, slip into J Crew’s Cece Ballet Flats ($138). For more outfits like this, head to Stockholm Street Style.

#3. Our last look of the day comes courtesy of Jenny, who lives in Los Angeles. What can we say? We love Jenny’s printed pants! Not only do they add an interesting and eye-catching element to her look, but they are totally on-trend. Of course, there is a key to wearing pants like this, which Jenny has mastered effortlessly. The key: make sure you allow the pants to take center stage by pairing them with simpler pieces. Jenny’s brown button-down shirt, black wedges, and white scarf add a softer side to the ensemble, resulting in perfectly measured style. To make this look your own, try pairing DKNY’s Parker Print Ankle Skinny Pants ($225) or Lela Rose’s Printed Cotton-Blend Pants ($695) with Equipment’s Signature Blouse ($208). Then, accessorize with J Crew’s Greer Wedge Ankle Boots ($130) and Topshop’s Cream Skull Scarf ($44).
