While the majority of Chanel’s Fall 2010 makeup collection is teeming with chocolate greys, deep plums and on-trend khaki green shades, the iconic brand’s latest lineup of Glossimer lip glosses provides fans with the perfect amount of contrast thanks to its bright and summery palette of corals, pinks and peaches. The inspiration? Chanel’s global creative director Peter Phillips wanted to pay tribute to Coco Chanel’s appetite for bold contrast by sitting plenty of smoky eye shades alongside natural-colored lip stains.
From left to right: Coral Love is a soft, sheer coral-pink with gold shimmer; Pink Teaser is a semi-opaque fuschia-pink with gold shimmer; Petite Peche is a creamy, sheer peach-pink with a gold shimmer; and, Rose Dilemma is a sheer, blue-tinted rose pink with white shimmer.
The Chanel Fall 2010 Lip Glossimer shades are due in stores and on Chanel.com next month. Each Lip Glossimer shade retails for around $27.
