To celebrate Chanel’s newly-redesigned Soho boutique, Chanel’s global creative director of makeup, Peter Philips, has created the exclusive Soho Story Collection, which launches on Fashion’s Night Out.

Sad but true: if you’re not in New York City on Fashion’s Night Out (September 10), you’re going to miss the chance of a lifetime. To celebrate Chanel’s newly-redesigned Soho boutique, Chanel’s global creative director of makeup, Peter Philips, has created the exclusive Soho Story Collection, a limited edition lineup of Pop Art-influenced beauty essentials. Inspired by Soho’s contrasting spirit—”For me, Soho is a place where bohemian ideals meet the toughness of the city,” says Philips—the collection fuses flirty pink hues and pale neutrals with heavy-duty metallic tints and shadowy shades. “I had a specific girl in mind, who is both hard and soft. This is a very special kind of New York woman. She is innocent, but she has a steely determination that fuels the city.” Sound like you? Check out the details:

The Chanel Soho Story Collection includes (from left to right): the Soho de Chanel Palette ($65), an eye shadow compact with four velvety shades; the Quadra Eye Shadow Palette ($56) in Stupendous (beige, brown, prune and steel); two Le Vernis Nail Lacquers ($23 each) in Strong and Steel; Rouge Coco Lip Color ($30) in Stunning, a beige-pink; and, Glossimer ($27) in Star, a subtle shimmery pink. Also available (not pictured): Rouge Allure Lacquer ($32) in Stunt, a soft mauve.

The Chanel Soho Story Collection will be available on Fashion’s Night Out (September 10) exclusively at Chanel’s Soho store (139 Spring St, New York City.)
