Chic Shoe Buys

With spring on the horizon, we can’t think of a better reason to indulge ourselves in a little shoe shopping—and if you tend to agree, our latest Chic Shoe Buys story is definitely a winner. From sparkling gold sandals to pretty pink platforms, we have rounded up a slew of must-try footwear buys—and the best part is that we have something for girls of every style and every budget. So don’t hesitate—click through to today’s Chic Shoe Buys story to discover the footwear finds we are lusting after this month and treat your shoe closet to some eye-candy!

While some women won’t be caught dead in anything less than a five-inch heel, others prefer flats during the day. Here at Mama’s A Rolling Stone, however, we don’t discriminate—we like a little bit of everything. For instance, when it comes to a wedge heel, we say the bigger the better, which is why we are so smitten with Alice + Olivia’s Delilah Painted Snake Wedges ($395). It features a leg-lengthening 5.5″ heel, plus it is covered in a colorful python-print pattern that is certain to catch the eye. For similar reasons, we are captivated by Zara’s Jute Wedges ($100). The raffia trim gives this wedge a vacation-ready vibe, while the colorblock pattern is so on trend—and no one can say no to that.

Of course, we also love a flattering platform heel. In fact, one of our favorite finds this month is Pelle Moda’s Truman Platform Sandals ($185). They evoke thoughts of the 1970s and would look amazing with pieces that also evoke that era—think long maxi dresses or wide-leg jeans—but they also feel utterly modern thanks to the sleek silhouette and fun color palette. We also love Rachel Zoe’s Anita Raffia Platform Sandals ($395). They have the modern-boho vibe that has become synonymous with Rachel Zoe’s designs, but the cream color palette also adds a sleek and sophisticated feel, making them perfect for a fashion industry event or cocktail party. Given that spring is on the horizon, though, we are all about color—and Betsey Johnson’s Haylie Platforms ($138) feature a perfect shade of pink. The hue is not overly saturated, which makes these shoes really versatile—you could wear them to a spring wedding, a poolside party, cocktail hour, or on a date.

If you are in the market for some flats, we would like to immediately direct your attention to Chloe’s Tri-Tone Braided Raffia Ballet Flats ($595). These flats are perfect for the girl-on-the-go who needs a shoe that can make it through the day. Plus, they will add a pop of color to your outfit without stealing focus from anything else you are wearing. Finally, if you are in the midst of planning your spring/summer wardrobe, we suggest you check out Dolce Vita’s Raffia T-Strap Sandals ($69) and Loeffler Randall’s Starla Plank Sandals ($175). While these sandals look quite different, they tick off the same boxes. Easy to wear? Check! Cool coloring? Check! Able to transition from day to night? Check! Can be taken on vacation, worn while shopping, and while out with friends? Check! Check! Check! Happy shopping!
