Chic Shoe Buys

Some of us like to shop until we drop, some of us like to pick up just a few key investment pieces every year, and some of us fall tidily in the middle, but if there is one thing we can all agree on, it is that shoes are the finishing touch for every outfit. For that reason, we just adore creating our regular Chic Shoe Buys story—not only is it teeming with must-have shoe options, but it has something for everyone, no matter what your style and budget. On that note, let’s dive right into our latest footwear finds! With summer on the horizon, we find ourselves leaning towards strappy sandals and chunky wedges that will go perfectly with our favorite sun dresses. For example, we love Jeffrey Campbell’s Savanna Platforms ($138). Not only will they look great with a pretty cotton dress or a pair of wide-leg jeans, but they have an on-trend 1970s-inspired vibe. On the other hand, we also like Matiko’s Ty Platform Wedges ($198). If you are looking to add a rock & roll edge to your outfit, these are your shoes!

Another reason we are looking forward to summer is because it is the perfect season to experiment with bright colors. Happily, there are plenty of vibrantly-hued shoes on the market right now! To start, you simply can’t look past Dune’s Gizella Multicolored Platform Sandals ($166.19). The crisscross straps and two-toned silhouette will bring life to any ensemble. Or, you could opt for Yves Saint Laurent’s Deauville 105 Platform Sandals ($500.40) or Paloma Barceló’s Velati Leather Wedge Sandals ($315). Couple either of these pairs with wide-leg jeans and a breezy peasant blouse and you’ll easily channel the hippie-luxe cool of Jane Birkin. Finally, if you prefer a flat sandal, you definitely must check out Topshop’s Fig Pink Rope Tie Leg Sandals ($75). It, too, has a bohemian vibe, but it is versatile enough to be worn with anything—from a bandage dress to a pair of denim cut-off shorts. Whichever way you go, we’re sure you’ll find something you love in today’s Chic Shoe Buys story. Happy shopping!
