Here at Mama’s A Rolling Stone, we love experimenting with different nail polish colors—whether we are trying out juicy brights, neutral nudes, or bolder hues—but we always, no matter what, return to classic red. After all, red is timeless, sexy, and undeniably hot. Accordingly, we were thrilled to discover that Dior is later this week launching “Les Rouges,” a three-piece collection of red polishes that are sure to draw out your inner siren. The collection is inspired by three particular eras in Dior’s history (from left to right): Trafalgar is a poppy red hue inspired by the bright red designs Christian Dior would send down the runway mid-show; Icône is a deep burgundy pays tribute to a nail polish called Rouge Icône, which was created to complement the Atout Coeur dress from the 1955 collection; and, Gruau G is a creamy red that takes inspiration from a 1947 painting by Gruau. The full Les Rouges collection is available now at Dior counters, as well as online at Dior.com. Each color retails for $21.
