NY EATS: Mama's A Rolling Stone Magazine

Whether you’re passing through the Big Apple, or reside in the city that never sleeps, indulging in the New York food scene is something most human beings welcome with open arms. With enough food choices to whet your appetite, here are few delicious go-to spots:

Clinton St. Baking Company– Lower East Side. Known for: brunch and southern inspired deliciousness. Although they might tell you it’s a 2 hour wait, an easy text alert allows you to anxiously see where you are in line. Must order: Banana walnut pancakes for the table, side of fried green tomatoes, and something eggy.

Roberta’s– Bushwick. Known for: Pizza and homemade bread. Make sure not to pass on the bread and butter. The Involto: a calzone on steroids. Order this instead of the traditional pizza and you won’t be disappointed. No matter how full you are, make sure to order the sticky buns. Ask for them “to go” but guaranteed you’ll finish them before reaching the door.

Guayoyo– East Village. This neighborhood is known for a plethora of food choices at reasonable prices. Must order: fried sweet plantains, arepas

Minetta Tavern– Greenwich Village. Dress up and chow down at this nostalgic burger joint that’s always bustling. Must order: bone marrow, the minetta burger, and pommes anna.

Henry’s EndBrooklyn Heights. Unique flavors and homestyle dishes make up the menu at this quaint date spot.

Go ahead, indulge.  – and tell us what you think!
