Erin Fetherston For Juicy Couture

In May, designer Erin Fetherston unveiled her first creation for her new Juicy Couture capsule collection—an unexpectedly luxe lemon-yellow velour gown, which she wore to the 2010 Met Costume Institute Gala. A few months on, we’re happy to report that Fetherston’s entire collection for Juicy is equally fab. Encompassing a slew of separates—including bustiers, draped mini dresses, opulent jackets and gathered skirts—the entire collection is designed from Juicy’s favored fabric: velour. “You can treat it the right way so it has a luxe look,” Fetherston told WWD. “My vision is to take things out of the box of just sportswear or leisurewear.” If these latest images are anything to go by, Fetherston is undoubtedly on the right track.
