If you’re more than ready to step into spring, take a peek at Essie’s new spring 2011 color collection, titled A French Affair. The six-piece collection—which takes inspiration from 1960s glamour—is teeming with pretty sorbet colors that will give your nails a beachy opaque sheen. The collection includes (from left to right): Nice Is Nice, a modern lavender hue; Coat Azure, an ocean blue hue; French Affair, a cupcake pink hue; Topless & Barefoot, a peachy-nude hue; Sand Tropez, a light tan; and, Kisses & Bises, a pearly white hue. “I think every woman has a little Brigitte Bardot in her and this palette coaxes her out,” says Essie founder Essie Weingarten. The A French Affair collection will arrive in stores in February, as well as online at Essie.com. Each color retails for around $8.
On a side note, Essie is reportedly planning to launch a 100-shade color collection in the next few months that will include previous favorites, bestsellers and several limited edition mini-collections.
