In the midst of the season it may be nearly impossible to avoid the scorching heat the summer entails. Fortunately, this too shall come to an end in what seems to be an eternity of waiting. Fall fashion may seem too far off in the future, WE even break a sweat just thinking about leather, knits, and knee-high boots. But, as the season is coming slightly closer to its end, let’s reevaluate. Back in February, fashion week swung in full force. Shades of gray, black, brown, and navy became the prominent colors amongst the collections. The one surprising hue that left its mark was Red. From electric crimson to deep wine, and about every color in-between, red became the game changer of the season. Whether constructed to elegant gowns, over-sized sweaters, frilly skirts, or patent leather shoes, this hue packed a major punch on the runway. We can’t ignore the fact that it’s mid-July, which makes it nearly impossible to wear anything but crop tops and cut-offs. However, when fall rolls around, don’t be afraid to bring on the heat.
