Today in Fashion News: Alexa Ray Joel, daughter of model Christie Brinkley and musician Billy Joel, is the new face of Prell shampoo, nearly 25 years after her mother starred in ad campaigns for the iconic shampoo. Meanwhile, Vogue editor Anna Wintour was elected to the American Society of Magazine Editors’ hall of fame yesterday.

• For the first time, the Council of Fashion Designers of America is including fashion bloggers in its voting process. A group of bloggers will cast a vote on the CFDA Fashion Award winners, after receiving nominating ballots earlier this month. [WWD]

• J Crew will be sold on Net-A-Porter, starting in May. The partnership will allow J Crew to expand its global reach. J Crew plans to offer new styles and colors exclusive to Net-A-Porter. [WWD]

• Singer Róisín Murphy is teaming up with UK eyewear label Linda Farrow Vintage to create a limited-edition pair of sunglasses. The sunglasses will be available in April for around $500. [WWD]

• The second Fashion’s Night Out, which is due to take place in September, will be the subject of an hour-long documentary to be aired on CBS. The program will include behind-the-scenes footage as well as coverage of the night itself. [WWD]
