Irving Penn, the American photographer known for his portraiture and fashion photography, died yesterday at his Manhattan home at the age of 92. Penn’s career spanned over 50 years and his legacy includes photographing over 150 Vogue covers. Penn was married to supermodel Lisa Fonssagrives until her death in 1992. [The Associated Press]
Model Heidi Klum and designer Michael Kors are teaming up with Saks Fifth Avenue for their annual Key to the Cure campaign to raise money in the fight against cancer. Kors has designed a limited edition tee that Klum will wear in public service announcements throughout the rest of October.
