In fashion news today: Jimmy Choo’s pre-fall 2010 collection will include eight pairs of sneakers. Meanwhile, Gela Nash-Taylor and Pamela Skaist-Levy, the co-founders of Juicy Couture, have left the brand.


• Jimmy Choo’s pre-fall 2010 collection will include eight pairs of sneakers (pictured). The suede-and-snakeskin sneakers will range in price from approximately $475 – $635. [Elle UK]

• Balmain will launch a line of sunglasses in collaboration with Oliver Peoples. The line will be available in March. [Style File]

• Gela Nash-Taylor and Pamela Skaist-Levy, the co-founders of Juicy Couture, have left the brand. The duo are said to have been unhappy with the direction that Juicy Couture had taken under its parent company. [NY Post]

• Myf Shepherd has decided to take a break from modeling to focus on her studies at Sydney’s College of Fine Arts. Her agency expects her to return to modeling in 2011. [Frockwriter]

• Narciso Rodriguez is set to open his first online shop, a collaboration with eBay that will launch on February 15. The shop will sell his eight-piece spring collection. [WWD]

• Ulta Salon, Cosmetics & Fragrance Inc. are introducing a new color cosmetics line called Essence, a bargain beauty brand that first launched in Germany in 2001. The line will be available in April. [WWD]

• Versace’s restructuring plan has been approved by all, with a view to returning to profitability in 2011. Meanwhile, a new women’s diffusion line, titled Versace Collection, will debut in fall. [WWD]
