• Singers Cyndi Lauper and Lady Gaga have been named as the latest faces of the MAC AIDS Fund. MAC will make a Viva Glam Gaga Lipstick and a Viva Glam Cyndi Lipstick for $14 each, with all proceeds going to the MAC AIDS Fund. • The British Fashion Council (BFC) and British Vogue magazine have joined forces to launch the BFC Vogue Designer Fashion Fund. Similar in style to the Vogue/CFDA awards, the fund will provide one British-based designer with £200,000 and high-level mentoring support to build his or her business on the international stage. • Vogue editor Anna Wintour has been appointed to President Barack Obama’s Committee on the Arts and the Humanities. First Lady Michelle Obama is the committee’s honorary chairwoman which focuses on education and special events. • Will Topshop tycoon Philip Green recruit his daughter, Chloe, for his next designer collaboration? Chloe told The Sunday Times Magazine: “Dad’s often said that I should do something for Topshop.
