Today in Fashion News: Madonna has formed a joint venture with Iconix Brand Group Inc., which will see the pop superstar bring “multiple fashion-related projects” to the world. Meanwhile, American Eagle Outfitters Inc. will close down their Martin + Osa stores and online business, after the concept failed to stay afloat.


• Madonna has formed a joint venture with Iconix Brand Group Inc., which will see the pop superstar bring “multiple fashion-related projects” to the world. The first project is a juniors’ line called Material Girl which will launch exclusively at Macy’s in August. [WWD]

    well givenchy: not cool!! surely they have a contract and the agencies/models will still be paid?
