Designs By Galit Rondin

Designs By Galit RondinGalit Rondin dedicates her time to scouring Manhattan and the internet, looking for unique trinkets that she then crafts into designer jewelry for her eponymous collection, Designs by Galit Rondin. Her one-of-a-kind, handmade jewelry is put together from these finds and features a pretty dazzling array of bracelets, earrings and necklaces.

We recently were lucky enough to catch a glimpse of one of Galit’s pieces, The Lady & The Ball, from her Linked Collection. The gold toned necklace featured a lizard dotted with bright green crystals, a ladybug and a frog on a large pendant. Further up the chain, two dark leopards sit. Each piece is like a whimsical fairytale that has been molded into a piece of jewelry, ready to spice up your neckline.

That being said, Galit’s jewelry is designed with a specific aesthetic in mind; to combine classic style with the wild and rough. If you head to her website, you’ll find a silver cuff covered in a mix of butterflies and leopards, crystal flowers and tiny toads. Similarly, a silver necklace features a mix of flowers, bows, skeletons and a dangling spider, for good measure.

“In my work I always provide equality between what is anticipated and what is unexpected to explore themes of the beauty and the beast,” says Galit.

Hailing from Israel, Galit lives in Manhattan with her husband and daughter. Her work is quickly being snapped up by celebrities and the press. Whether she is searching online or going to a secondhand store or a thrift shop, Galit is looking for those quirky, fanciful pieces that will tell their own tale. Available at GalitRondin.com.
