Why are the French so chic? This is always the thought that runs through my mind whenever I start looking at street style blogs, such as Street Peeper – why are the French so chic and how do I steal some of their style?
This girl here is the epitome of cool! I love how she wears the leather shorts with the ballet flats. I’m sure Kate Moss wishes she could have worn this combination first.
I love how this outfit could be worn all day and then into the night, especially with the clutch. It’s not too dressed up for the day, but it is just dressy enough for the night.
I have been to Paris once, for a weekend, in 2005. We stayed just near the Moulin Rouge and we wandered the streets at night, taking in the stylish Parisians, then spent the day at the Eiffel Tower (obviously) and wandering the banks of the river.
The ultimate shop, if you’re looking for French Chic, is the Colette boutique. At 213 rue Saint-Honore, it is like candy land. You just want to stand outside it for hours. They now have a website which will also make you stare for hours.
