Fashion’s Night Out will return in 2010, according to WWD. The global shopping event was designed to give retail figures a much-needed boost and was held on the eve of New York Fashion Week in September.
“The numbers are in, and it’s clear that Fashion’s Night Out was a tremendous success,” said Mayor Michael Bloomberg of New York. Bloomberg, alongside Vogue magazine, the CFDA and NYC & Co., announced that the event’s return in 2010 would be bigger and better than the first.
The first event took place on September 10th and was considered a success. “We were absolutely bowled over by the response to Fashion’s Night Out,” said Vogue editor in chief Anna Wintour. “It was only 15 minutes after the event began, and we were getting reports about lines around the block at stores throughout the city. It was wonderful to see people embrace this initiative, and we are thrilled that they wish it to return.”
The next Fashion’s Night Out will be held on September 9th 2010. So what do you think? Did you attend any events for FNO 2009? Are you looking forward to the next one?

Yay. I had to miss Fashion night out this year, but would love to go to it next time.
