First Look: L'Wren For Lancome

Last week, Lancôme announced that stylist/designer L’Wren Scott was collaborating with Lancôme’s artistic director for makeup, Aaron De Mey, on a capsule holiday color collection. According to WWD, the L’Wren for Lancôme line will include two of Scott’s signature beauty items—a Bordeaux-red lipstick and gray nail polish—as well as other key beauty items, such as lip gloss, eye shadow and mascara. Scott’s first priority, however, was the lipstick: “I would like to try to interpret a red lipstick that could be worn from day to night,” Scott apparently told Lancôme.

The L’Wren for Lancôme line will be launched internationally in November; prices will range from $14.50 for nail polish to $42 for an eye shadow quad. A feather rose brooch and a pochette, both designed by Scott, will be available as gifts with purchase.
