British retail chain Topshop is well known for its fast fashion, designer/celebrity collaborations and championing of young, up-and-coming designers. In September, Topshop will add yet another enterprising designer to its roster: Dutch wunderkind Michael Van Der Ham, whose ultra-feminine dresses and signature patchwork creations are supported by the British Fashion Council’s NewGen sponsorship. For Topshop, Van Der Ham has put his colorful touch on a series of printed silk scarves that feature bright splashes of color and trompe l’oeil prints. All in all, these scarves are the perfect pieces to set the tone for fall. The Michael Van Der Ham for Topshop scarves will arrive in Topshop stores and online at Topshop.com in September.
