In August, former reality star Lauren Conrad announced she was launching a new contemporary clothing line called Paper Crown. Originally, the making of Paper Crown was to be documented on a new reality show for MTV but, earlier this year, MTV and Lauren announced that the show wouldn’t be going ahead. Happily, however, Paper Crown is going ahead and today we have a first look at the fall 2011 collection. The first thing we noticed about Paper Crown is the abundance of looks that instantly call to mind Lauren’s personal style. There are high-waist shorts, silky cocktail dresses, slim bandage dresses, breezy blouses, ruffled maxi dresses, slouchy cashmere sweaters, and super-skinny jeans.
