For Spring 2011, BCBG Max Azria’s designers, Max and Lubov Azria, focused on creating a selection of cool, sexy dresses that stayed true to the minimalist aesthetic they previewed last fall. Maybelline makeup artist Charlotte Willer started her look with a layer of Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Primer, followed by a layer of Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse Foundation and Maybelline Mineral Power Finishing Veil Powder in Pink. On the eyes, Willer layered the gold and silver shadows from Maybelline’s Eye Studio Quad in Green With Envy palette to create a shimmering eye. Finally, for the lips, Willer used Maybelline’s Color Sensational LipStain in Buff, with a layer of Vaseline over the top for added shine.
Bumble & Bumble hair stylist Neil Moodie started his look with Bumble & Bumble’s Tonic Spray Detangler. He then blow-dried hair with a flat brush to create a smooth look, and then created a simple ponytail at the nape of the neck. The final touch? A straightening iron to remove frizz.
