For Spring 2011, Doo.Ri designer Doo-Ri Chung stayed true to her usual monochromatic palette—this season, she used a soft fusion of whites, vanillas, buttercup yellows and baby blues. Her beauty look was similarly subdued: “We decided the makeup would be colorful, but in a washed-out way,” said makeup artist Tom Pecheux. For further details, read on!
Lead makeup artist Tom Pecheux started with a light application of MAC Skin & Body foundation. On the eyes, he applied a vanilla cream eyeshadow, with a dab of concealer on the inside corners, but opted against mascara. He then blended MAC’s Derailed and Ochre eyesshadows onto the lids, and finished with a touch of mustard and orange on the center of each lid. Finally, for the lips, Pecheux applied a vanilla cream shadow to “erase” the lips, and then added a hint of mustard shade on the center of each lip.
Manicurist Jin Soon Choi filed nails down and then added a single coat of Zoya’s Sally nail polish.
