Jason Wu’s Spring 2011 show was a swirl of excitement! To start, Wu used the opportunity to launch his full range of accessories—shoes, bags, and sunglasses—and his new nail color collaboration with CND. Plus, his collection was overflowing with vivid colors and a mash-up of prints. The beauty looks were similarly inspired! For further details, read on!
Makeup artist Diane Kendal smoothed on a purple cream base by Shiseido in the outer corner of each eye, and then applied a deep purple pigment on the outer corner, and a violet pigment on the top corner. To finish, Kendal lined each eye with deep purple eye pencil, smoothed a black cream liner on to the top and bottom of the lash line, and then coated the top lashes with Shiseido mascara. For the cheeks, Kendal brushed on Shiseido Luminizing Satin Face Color in PK 304 Carnation. As for the lips: a slick of nude lipstick.
CND manicurist Jan Arnold used the new Jason Wu Collection to create a soft, feminine look. Arnold applied two coats of Veronica—a blue-based oxblood red—and then finished with a slick of top coat. Pedicures were done in Perfectly Bare Color—a peachy, nude hue—from CND’s limited edition Spring Color & Effect duo.
