Get Marc Jacobs' Spring 2011 Beauty Look

Season upon season, the Marc Jacobs show is one of the most highly anticipated of fashion week. Why? Because it never, ever disappoints. Case in point: last night, Marc Jacobs presented a 70s-inspired showcase of bold colors, halter dresses, jumpsuits, peasant blouses, and oversized straw hats. His beauty look was equally glam: impressive fabric flowers were tucked into frizzy curls, and models wore dramatically colored eyes and bold lips. For further details, read on!

The Makeup
Lead makeup artist François Nars started with Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer, which he complemented with one of three products: a peach-pink Nars Orgasm shade, a powder blush, or a creamy dose of Nars The Multiple. Eyes were dusted in deep green or black tones, thanks to Nars Eye Shadow Single in Night Porter and Nars Soft Touch Shadow Pencil in Celebrate. The final touch: Nars Eyeliner Pencil in Black Moon and Nars Larger Than Life Mascara. As for the lips, matte shades of Nars Pure Matte Lipstick in Volga—a rich aubergine—were balanced with Nars Eyeliner Pencil in Mambo and African Queen.

The Hair
Lead hair stylist Guido Paulau started by applying Redken Thickening Lotion into wet hair. Then, he curled, pinned and brushed hair out for an oversized frizzy look, or worked in pin curls for a 30s-inspired look. The final touch: Redken Quick Dry Hairspray.

The Nails
Manicurist Roxanne Valinoti used CND Nail Polish in Perfectly Bare for a minimalist look, with a few extra layers of CND Super Matte for good measure. On the toes, Valinoti used CND Nail Polish in Bloodline, a rich red shade that matched the lipstick.
