Michelle Williams stepped out on the red carpet for the premiere of Blue Valentine in New York City last night wearing a sequined Azzaro dress and Charlotte Olympia heels. As always, Williams looked perfectly put together—she complemented her girly-meets-glam ensemble with a platinum-blonde pixie cut and pretty-in-pink makeup. Want to know how she created her blushing beauty look? Her makeup artist Jeanine Lobell has the answer!
To start, Lobell used Kevyn Aucoin’s Skin Enhancer ($45) as a primer. Then, she applied layers of pearlized ivory, pink and grey eyeshadow from Chanel’s new Ombres Perlées de Chanel Eye Palette, which doesn’t arrive in stores until January, on the lids. “I applied the pale ivory shade loosely all over the eye, from the lash lines to brows, and then the pink one lightly over the creases. Then, I smudged the grey into the top lash lines and along the lower lashes.” To complete the eyes, Lobell penciled brows with Chanel’s Precision Brow Definer ($28), curled the lashes, and then applied three coats of Kevyn Aucoin’s Curling Mascara ($25) in Rich Pitch Black.
Next, Lobell used Chanel’s Powder Blush ($42) in Rose Petale on Michelle’s cheeks. To complete the look, Lobell applied a dash of Chanel’s Rouge Coco Lip Color in Jersey Rose, which doesn’t arrive in stores until January, on Michelle’s lips.
