David Neville and Marcus Wainwright, designers of New York-based label Rag & Bone, were inspired by parachuting gypsies and military influences for Spring 2011. (Fun fact: they used pictures of Wainwright’s father and grandfather in military attire as a starting point.) As for the beauty inspiration? Revlon’s Gucci Westman referenced “a real girl who’s gone on a trip and Peter Lindbergh girls of the 1980s.” For further details, read on!

The Makeup
Revlon makeup artist Gucci Westman blended shades from the Revlon Multi Use Palette in Suede Rhapsody onto the eye lids, and then lined them with smudged Revlon Luxurious Color Matte Kohl Liner in Black Truffle. For the brows, she combined Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Creme and hairspray to give them a wet look. Finally, for the lips, Westman used a custom nude lipstick, called Fashion’s Night Pout, created especially for Fashion’s Night Out.

The Hair
Redken’s Guido Palau used a combination of Revlon Extreme Anti-Snap Leave-In Conditioner and Redken Glass Shine Serum to twist hair into a haphazard chignon. To complete the look: “I’m going to spray the hair with water right before they go out,” he said.

The Nails
Manicurist Jin Soon Choi painted nails with a single coat of Sally Hansen’s Complete Salon Manicure in Peachy Keen.
