Lisbeth Salander may not be your run-of-the-mill heroine, but that doesn’t make her any less inspiring. On the contrary, Salander’s look—a mix of gritty, urban pieces and survival-wear—is the inspiration behind H&M’s new collaboration with Trish Summerville, the costume designer on the upcoming The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo film. The 30-piece collection features pieces you would expect to see on an anti-heroine like Salander. Specifically, you will find worn-in leather jackets, hooded wool coats, slouchy cardigans, torn jeans, and zip-up hoodies. As for accessories, there are battered leather boots, weather-beaten backpacks, tribal-style earrings, and thick knit scarves. The full collection will be available in select H&M stores on December 14. Prices start at $3.95. In the meantime, click inside to watch a preview video!
