In an effort to help launch the careers of up-and-coming designers, H&M has today announced the introduction of the H&M Design Award. Emerging talent from 14 of the most prominent design schools in Sweden, the United Kingdom, German, Belgium, Holland, and Denmark will be eligible for the award. As for the winner, they will receive a cash prize, as well as the opportunity to show their graduate collection at Stockholm Fashion Week. The winner will be announced on February 1. The best part, however, is that we can follow along and watch the nominees on their journey. H&M will share 30 film clips during the competition’s run at HM.com, including videos of the six nominees as they present their collections to the Grand Jury in London.
