MAGAZINE – 01 Magazine // 01 Magazine is a concept magazine and they have just released their third issue. 01 is filled with music, art, fashion, editorials, interviews, photography and has a really simple, easy to navigate layout. This issue, they have an interview with pro skater and creative genius, Jason Dill, and a feature on NYC-based designer Dana Lee.
CHARITY – Art For Obama // The campaign and election of Barack Obama stirred up hope and creative inspiration around the world, the most famous of which was Shepard Fairey’s iconic Hope portrait. Fairey has put together a book of art from artists around the world, with all proceeds going to charity. You can buy Art For Obama here.
HELP – Corinne Day // Corinne Day is the famous photographer, recognized for launching a teenage Kate Moss and for inspiring fashion’s heroin chic debate in the 90s. She has been battling brain cancer for ten years and is currently undergoing expensive treatment. You can no longer buy her prints to raise money, but if you’re in the UK, you can still help.
FASHION – Christopher Kane for Topshop // Christopher Kane’s line for Topshop hit the stores just under three weeks ago and since, gorilla motifs have taken over the city. There is still some Christopher Kane for Topshop pieces available in store. If you missed out, never fear. There is another collection to come. Meanwhile, we love this one-shoulder dress and these embellished joggers.

FILM – Hedi Slimane’s American Youth Boxset // Hedi Slimane, the prominent French designer/photographer, has curated a collection of films. Known for his interest in indie rock, among other things, the films portray America’s youth counter culture in the last fifty years. FILM – Where The Wild Things Are // Could the hype for Where The Wild Things Are get any better? Opening Ceremony has collaborated with Spike Jonze to create a collection of faux fur goodies. The soundtrack features Karen O of The Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Girl Skateboard Company has released limited edition skateboards while Space 15 Twenty in Hollywood have a pop-up shop (featuring costumes designed by Christian Joy).
MODEL – Georgia May Jagger // Georgia May Jagger’s star is rising rapidly. The daughter of Jerry Hall and Mick Jagger (obviously! look at those lips!) modeled her way through New York Fashion Week, including a stint with Betsey Johnson. She is the new face of Hudson Jeans and recently did a shoot with Vanity Fair. “Modeling is always something I’ve really admired because I’ve seen my mum and sister do it,” she told them.
SHOP – White Trash Charms // White Trash Charms are a LA-based luxury accessories company. The focus of White Trash Charms is on music and pop culture, with collections named WTC For Playboy, 1984 and Ladies Who Don’t Do Lunch. Their jewelry is created in precious metal, enamel and stones.
WEBSITE – Jak & Jil // Tommy Ton, the photographer behind street style blog Jak & Jil, has risen to the top of the heap, taking over from Sartorialist Scott Schuman as the new official fashion month style blogger for Style.com. His blog offers a new perspective on street style while featuring the industry heavyweights one would expect.
