Promising to “compliment the perfectly tailored and metropolitan feel” of the runway and pre-collections, here is a little taste of what is to come from Jil Sander’s new Navy line – a new, casual lifestyle collection from the brand. With a focus on lightweight jersey pieces and easy knitwear, the complete range includes tees, shirts, dresses, pants, skirts, outerwear and denim, with a directional selection of accessories including handbags, footwear and belts.
A palette of neon pink, electric blue and fluorescent orange is fused with midnight black, smoky grey and neutral hues for a fresh yet minimalist approach. Dresses are draped lightly across the body and accented with layers of sheer fabric; structured skinny pants are cropped at the ankle and worn with loose tank tops; tote and shoulder bags are printed in the same abstract designs as the clothes.
The entire Jil Sander Navy collection will begin arriving in stores in January 2011. Prices range from $125 for a t-shirt to $1,000 for a trench.
