When it comes to good causes, the fashion world is known to rally and the Gulf Coast’s horrific oil spill is no different. Kenneth Cole is doing his part with today’s launch of an online customized t-shirt store that will help raise money for the Gulf area’s oil cleanup efforts. From now through the end of July, charitable fashion fans can purchase a special tee designed exclusively for the cause, with 100% of the net profits donated to Awearness, The Kenneth Cole Foundation.
For just $35, customers can tailor a tee to their liking. Customization options include 14 different colors, 3 different graphics and 13 “Kennethisms,” – cheeky slogans like “I Clean Up Well” and “We All Clean Up Well.” The t-shirts are available exclusively on the Kenneth Cole Facebook page. Remember, every little thing counts! As Cole says: “By purchasing one of these custom t-shirts everybody can now look good by doing good.”
On a side note, the foundation is spreading the word via Twitter – each day, for the next five days, 20 people who retweet Cole’s special message will win a free t-shirt. If you want to help spread the word, head to the Kenneth Cole Twitter page for more info.
