They say the third time’s the charm, but Prada’s new perfume, Candy Florale, hardly needs luck when it comes to the brand’s third foray into the world of fragrance.
Prada’s first perfume, called simply Candy, was launched in 2011 and was an instant hit—super sweet, youthful and flirty. In 2013, the Italian-line followed it up with Candy L’Eau, a less sweet, more musky offering, but one that was still filled with an overall confectionary aroma, and infused with a vibe of youth and energy (as this quirky Wes Anderson and Roman Coppola directed commercial short shows).
Now, Prada presents its third Candy perfume—Candy Florale—which launches Tuesday, April 8th. This time around, there’s a lovely and light powdery aroma on top, in addition to notes of peony, benzoin, musk and limoncello underneath. And of course, never straying from Candy’s original sugary sensibility, the fragrance is also filled with warm whiffs of caramel and honey.
Just one spritz (the perfume is heavily concentrated, so be careful not to spray too much) is all you need. Prada Candy Florale is perfect for those carefree summer days that are soon to come—sweet, fun and flirty. So grab a bottle tomorrow unleash your sweet tooth!
