Fashion can be so unfair at times—before the crisp cool days of fall have even started, previews of spring collections roll in, making us yearn for warm sunny days. Case in point: Leifsdottir’s first footwear collection, launching for spring. For those in the dark, Leifsdottir is owned and operated by Urban Outfitters, Inc., Anthropologie’s parent company, and designed by Finland native Johanna Uurasjarvi, Anthropologie’s design director.
According to Uurasjarvi, the spring footwear collection takes inspiration from Scandinavian furniture design. Specifically, look for strong lines, chunky wedges, strappy heels, mixed materials, and contrasting tones that stay true to Leifsdottir’s pretty-yet-polished aesthetic.
Leifsdottir’s spring footwear collection will arrive in stores like Bergdorf Goodman and Bloomingdale’s in February. Prices will range from $225 to $350.
