Yesterday Lindsay Lohan announced the expansion of her leggings label, 6126, into a full-fledged apparel line. The first full collection will launch in fall 2010, with further extensions planned for 2011. Lindsay’s new commitments are in addition to her role as artistic adviser at French brand, Ungaro.
The fall 2010 apparel line will consist of around 100 pieces, including a selection of leggings, Lohan’s staple piece, as well as blazers, dresses, tops and leather jackets. For spring 2011, the brand will expand to include a cosmetics line, handbags, shoes and jewelry. Average retail prices will be between $100 and $150. The full collection will sell at Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, Nordstrom and specialty stores worldwide, including Harrods and Kitson.
Do you think Lindsay’s 6126 Collection will be successful? Will she be more comfortable working with her own style of clothes, rather than the Ungaro aesthetic?
