Louis Vuitton Fall 2010 Campaign

For Louis Vuitton’s Fall 2010 ad campaign, the luxury label decided to stick to this winning theme by casting models born in three different decades.

Louis Vuitton’s Fall 2010 runway show featured a diverse array of models, with creative director Marc Jacobs looking to “cast a variety of sexy women – younger, older, thin, voluptuous, from every ethnic background.” For Louis Vuitton’s Fall 2010 ad campaign, the luxury label decided to stick to this winning theme by casting models born in three different decades.

Photographed by Steven Meisel and styled by Karl Templer, the Fall 2010 campaign features American supermodel Christy Turlington (in her 40s), British model Karen Elson (in her 30s) and Russian model Natalia Vodianova (in her 20s). The stunning trio is seen in an array of Louis Vuitton’s overtly feminine fall dresses, posing in a retro-inspired room that pays subtle homage to the 50s/60s era the collection was inspired by.

Louis Vuitton’s head of communications, Antoine Arnault, says: “What better way to celebrate eternal femininity than with three of the world’s most beautiful women?” What do you think: is this proof that beauty has no age limit?
