Louise Goldin For Topshop Shoes

January 14, 2010

If your feet have been looking for a little extra armor, look no further. Louise Goldin has designed three pairs of shoes for Topshop that will have you looking fierce and fabulous when they are released in February.

There are three shoes that come in two designs. The first design is studded on the toe and features diamantes around the heel. This shoe is available in black on black or gold on cream. The second design has the reverse – a studded heel and a diamante toe – and is available in crystal on rose.

These hotly anticipated heels are based on the shoes Goldin used in her Spring 2010 catwalk show at London Fashion Week. The capsule collection is a nod towards the nineties revival, with Goldin citing high-glamour as well as Baroque opulence as her inspiration. “The pastel colors and stones represent opulence and glamour; the studs give the shoes a cool, tough edge,” says Goldin.

All the shoes are priced at $310; a hefty price, maybe, but the non-Topshop originals were $900. The black and rose versions will be available at Topshop.com from February 5; the cream will be available at the beginning of March. The shoes will hit the New York store 2-3 weeks after their online release.

The shoes pictured below are the actual shoes that will be released at Topshop. Are your feet ready for this?
