Texan model Erin Wasson has been designing her Low Luv jewelry line for several seasons now and her Spring 2010 collection recently hit the stores. As promised, Erin has reduced the prices for her latest collection; currently, nothing is above $250 which is a huge difference from previous collections.
Apparently inspired by a walk through the Southwestern deserts, the pieces have a distinctly tribal feel. The collection features a selection of Mexican totems and Native American glyphs, emblazoned on chunky knuckle-duster rings and oversized cuffs. In contrast, the necklaces are all quite delicate, which balances out the collection.
Each piece has a hint of Erin’s bohemian/grunge style. “I wanted to capture that sense of someone on the border, crossing back and forth,” she says of the designs. What do you think of this latest lower-priced collection? Do you think she stays true to her aesthetic? All the pieces pictured above are available at Shopbop.com.
