It doesn’t matter if you are a makeup aficionado or you prefer your face au natural, everyone is familiar with the pink-and-green packaging of Maybelline’s popular Great Lash mascara. What you might not be familiar with, however, is the fact that this year Great Lash is celebrating its 40th anniversary!
As part of the celebrations, Maybelline has asked three designers—Max Azria, Tracy Reese, and Vivienne Tam—to put their artist talents to use by creating limited edition Great Lash tubes. Each designer has used inspiration from their own collections to create fresh takes on the iconic tube. “We’re celebrating Maybelline New York’s fashion heritage by partnering with sought-after designers to bring a new look to America’s most iconic beauty product,” said Maybelline president David Greenberg.
The limited edition Great Lash collection will be available exclusively at Target in September. Each tube will retail for $6.99.
