Although Miranda Kerr has always had an innate sense of style, recently she has seriously stepped up her game. In fact, for the last month she has paraded a consistently chic array of outfits on the streets of New York, so we decided to dedicate this special edition of Model Style to her and explore exactly how we can channel this Aussie model’s sense of style this winter. Ready? Read on!
The Elements of Miranda’s Winter Style
Like many New York-based style mavens, Miranda often sticks to a palette of black, but her outfits are anything but basic. A pop of color here or there adds an eye-catching component to every look, while a bold accessory—that patent floral Prada bag, for instance—never hurts. Now, as you can also see, Miranda tends to stick to a few key silhouettes. On the top, she often goes for a pretty blouse or button-down shirt and then tops it off with a cocoon coat or leather biker jacket. On the bottom, it is always skinnies—in either denim or leather—or something subtly sexy like a skirt or leather shorts. As for shoes, if she isn’t wearing a pair of on-trend loafers, you will nearly always catch Miranda in a pair of sleek ankle booties.
