As we sifted through the endless bounty of stylish models, preparing to pick a muse for the month, our eye caught on Georgia Jagger. With Rolling Stones rocker Mick Jagger for a father and Texan model Jerry Hall for a mother, there’s no denying that Georgia had a leg up in the gene pool. But, with her blossoming beauty and charming, gap-toothed smile, she has the goods to back it up.
As the daughter of Jerry Hall and sister to model Elizabeth, Georgia was never really “discovered” the way most models are; she was practically born into it. After taking her first steps into the modeling world, she scored contracts with Rimmel London and Hudson Jeans, then in late 2009, was named the new face of Versace. Editorial credits include appearances in I-D Magazine, British Vogue and Vogue Russia.
If you’ve ever caught a glimpse of Georgia’s behind-the-scenes style, you’ll know that she possesses some of the quirkiness that her sister is known for, paired with a heavy dose of that British “cool” factor. With that, we present to your our model muse for April.
For our first venture (far left) into Georgia’s style, we’ve chosen a very cool-yet-casual ensemble: blue skinny jeans layered under a draped motorcycle jacket and finished off with leopard ballet flats. For a chic take on Georgia’s off-duty style, we like BDG’s Ink Ankle Cigarette Jean ($54) mixed with Muubaa’s Laced-Up Detail Washed Leather Draped Jacket ($256.41). Add a dash of bright red lipstick and a pair of Steve Madden’s Tama Casual Flats ($59.95) in Leopard.
Heading to a London Fashion Week party, Georgia (second from left) added a bohemian touch to her outfit, pairing high-waist black shorts with a slinky floral blouse and round-toe pumps. For a similarly stylish outfit, try these Side Trim Knicker Shorts ($60) from Topshop, paired with this Watercolor Chiffon Blouse ($58) by Pins & Needles. Missoni’s Floral Print Pumps ($460) will complete the outfit.
As you can see, Georgia likes to add an element of pizzazz to her look (middle). Here, she pairs a loose tunic top with a plaid blazer and leggings, finishing it off with a bowler hat and peep-toe pumps. To try an ensemble like this, we love Rodebjer’s Mister Jacket ($302.40) with Guess By Marciano’s Prue Tunic ($48) and Ash’s Graphite Satin Rosy Platform Peep Toe Pumps ($65.99).
Even when it comes to dressing up, Georgia knows how to balance her look between youthful and sexy. Here (second from right) she pairs a Herve Leger bandage dress with a pair of bright heels. You can go for the real thing with this Cross-Over Bandage Dress ($1,450) by Hervé Léger or grab a lookalike with this Zippy Dress ($68.38) by Oasis. These Starace Platform Sandals ($90) from Aldo will finish off the look.
For our final look, Georgia has mastered the art of street style (far right) by pairing cowboy boots with a boho, embroidered top and bright Wayfarer sunglasses. Grab this Embroidered Peasant Top ($17.25) from Aeropostale and add a pair of Free People’s Harness Harley Boots ($268). Finish it off with these New Small Wayfarer Sunglasses ($119) by Ray-Ban.
