Motel Summer 2010 Lookbook

March 1, 2010

The latest collection by one of our favorite UK-based brands, Motel, has us dreaming of an 80s-inspired summer. From floral bloomers to black lace leggings, the collection is reminiscent of the Technicolor 80s and was partially inspired by the clothes you find in a US thrift store.

Although Motel is always very careful to stay one step back from the current trends, they still shine through just a little. Nautical stripes are present in the cropped blazers and mini dresses, while a surf-inspired print makes its way on to a body-con dress.

The summer collection will have a huge range of cuts, including dresses, bodysuits, sweats, belts and leggings and should start to trickle into stores like MotelRocks.com and PixieMarket.com soon. What do you think? Do you like what you have seen so far?

This collection looks a little cheap to me. And the styling is boring.

ditto #1 – they could have gpone somewhere but they’ve made it look cheap with the styling.
